Nothing is binding until you have signed a consent form, and even then you may withdraw afterwards.

Eligibility depends on your diagnosis, your medical history, your current medication, and often on tests done at a screening visit. That is why we ask you to call rather than filling in an online quiz. A member of the research team can tell you in a few minutes what a web form cannot judge at all.

No. Study treatment and all study related visits are provided at no cost to you, and reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed. Some studies also offer compensation for your time. Where they do, the amount is stated in the information sheet before you consent, never afterwards.

Yes, at any point, without giving a reason. Your decision will not be questioned and it will not affect the care you receive from your own doctor in any way. We will usually ask whether you are willing to attend one final safety check, but you are free to decline that too.

Your identifiable details are held separately from your clinical study data and are accessible only to the research staff who need them. Results are published in aggregate, so you are never identifiable in any publication. We never sell participant data and never use it for marketing. You may request a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time.

A synopsis is usually enough to start: the indication, the primary and key secondary endpoints, the eligibility criteria you are considering, your target enrollment, and the timeline you are working to. We will come back with an honest view, including telling you if we think the recruitment target is unrealistic from a single site, or if another organization would serve you better.
